Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Erotic Scenes by Tassaduq Sohail for GBP 50.00 (€ 55.70). This price was achieved in the auction South Asian Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tassaduq Sohail achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Each Page. in June 2019 with an auction result of GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,285.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Erotic Scenes von Tassaduq Sohail für GBP 50,00 (€ 55,70) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tassaduq Sohail erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Each Page. im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.285,25).
