Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Various) by Tassaduq Sohail. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,199.93). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tassaduq Sohail - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Each Page., which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,285.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Various) von Tassaduq Sohail zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.199,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Tassaduq Sohail mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Each Page. beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 3.812,00 (€ 4.285,25) versteigert wurde.
