Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Figures fleeing the approach of a boat) by Tassaduq Sohail. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,499.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tassaduq Sohail - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Each Page., which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 3,812.00 (€ 4,285.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
