In June last year VAN HAM held the auction From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human, which included the work Ron Williamson. Baseball field, Norman, Oklahoma. by Taryn Simon. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,580.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Taryn Simon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Larry Mayes, Scene of Arrest, The Royal Inn, Gary, Indiana. Police found Mayes hiding beneath a mattress in this room. Served 18,5 years of an 80-year sentence for rape, robbery and unlawful deviate., which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 18,060.00.
