The work Pine And Plum Blossoms by Tao Shoubo was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 14,160.00 (€ 1,636.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tao Shoubo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cabbage and Mushrooms, which sold at auction in July 2020 for HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,108.63).

Die Arbeit Pine And Plum Blossoms von Tao Shoubo kam im Mai 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 14.160,00 (€ 1.636,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Tao Shoubo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cabbage and Mushrooms beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.108,63) versteigert wurde.
