Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Tang Yifen was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,355.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Tang Yifen kam im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.355,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
