Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Osmanthus by Tang Yifen was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,613.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Osmanthus von Tang Yifen wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.613,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
