Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tang Yifen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape after Old Masters sold for HKD 151,200.00 (€ 17,950.68) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yifen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jiao Shan Landscape in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,240,000.00 (€ 258,902.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tang Yifen erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape after Old Masters für HKD 151.200,00 (€ 17.950,68) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yifen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jiao Shan Landscape im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.240.000,00 (€ 258.902,56).
