Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (no. 52) by Tamas Konok was worth GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,704.07) to a buyer in March 2018. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 400.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tamas Konok; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mesures I. 1976. sold at auction in December 2015 with the realized price of CHF 3,375.00 (€ 3,102.74).

Die Arbeit Untitled (no. 52) von Tamas Konok war einem Käufer im März 2018 GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.704,07) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00 um ein Vielfaches.
