Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Table Trouble by Tala Madani was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in Dubai in May this year. The price achieved of USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,009.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tala Madani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elastic Pink in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 65,495.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Table Trouble von Tala Madani wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.009,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tala Madani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elastic Pink im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 65.495,45).
