Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work Puppy by Kobayashi Takanobu was worth HKD 211,500.00 (€ 17,412.05) to a buyer in May 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kobayashi Takanobu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunbather 1, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,109.99).

Die Arbeit Puppy von Kobayashi Takanobu war einem Käufer im Mai 2008 HKD 211.500,00 (€ 17.412,05) wert.
