Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dream, Dreaming us by Kobayashi Takanobu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,013.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kobayashi Takanobu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunbather 1 in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,109.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dream, Dreaming us von Kobayashi Takanobu kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.013,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kobayashi Takanobu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunbather 1 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 511.500,00 (€ 42.109,99).
