Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Portrait-diagonal (striped shirt) by Kobayashi Takanobu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 367,500.00 (€ 30,254.98), 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kobayashi Takanobu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 511,500.00 (€ 42,109.99) in May 2008 for the work Sunbather 1.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait-diagonal (striped shirt) von Kobayashi Takanobu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 367.500,00 (€ 30.254,98) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Kobayashi Takanobu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 511.500,00 (€ 42.109,99) im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit Sunbather 1 beobachtet.
