Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fuji by Takahashi Shōtei was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,054.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takahashi Shōtei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abalone diver, 1931.8 in September 2010 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,952.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fuji von Takahashi Shōtei kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.054,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takahashi Shōtei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abalone diver, 1931.8 im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.952,50).
