Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings, which included the work Recto: The Virgin Fainting, Supported By One Of The Holy Women, With Subsidiary Studies Of The Virgin'S Head And Hands; Verso: Drapery Study Of A Standing Figure, Leaning Over To The Left by Taddeo Zuccaro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 169,000.00 (€ 113,873.73), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Taddeo Zuccaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A seated man and studies of male figures behind him in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 750,000.00 (€ 649,238.23).

Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Recto: The Virgin Fainting, Supported By One Of The Holy Women, With Subsidiary Studies Of The Virgin'S Head And Hands; Verso: Drapery Study Of A Standing Figure, Leaning Over To The Left von Taddeo Zuccaro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 169.000,00 (€ 113.873,73) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Taddeo Zuccaro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A seated man and studies of male figures behind him im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 750.000,00 (€ 649.238,23).
