This work without title by Tadaaki Kuwayama was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2012. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,830.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tadaaki Kuwayama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Tk5769-‘66) in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 107,100.00 (€ 87,830.08).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tadaaki Kuwayama wurde im Januar 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.830,54) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tadaaki Kuwayama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Tk5769-‘66) im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.100,00 (€ 87.830,08).
