Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tadaaki Kuwayama was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 55,819.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Other works by Tadaaki Kuwayama have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Untitled (Tk5769-‘66) was auctioned for USD 107,100.00 (€ 87,830.08).
