The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,231.43), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rare large "Mesa" coffee table in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 40,918.39).

Die Arbeit Cabinet, Model No. 150, From The 'Adapte' Series von Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.231,43) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Terrence Harold Robsjohn-Gibbings auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rare large "Mesa" coffee table im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 54.000,00 (€ 40.918,39).
