Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work New Fengdu, Chongqing Municipality by Sze Tsung Leong for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,290.78). This price was achieved in the auction Postwar and Contemporary Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sze Tsung Leong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,620.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit New Fengdu, Chongqing Municipality von Sze Tsung Leong für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.290,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Postwar and Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sze Tsung Leong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Guanajuato I, from Cities, 2009 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.620,47) versteigert wurde.
