The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,625.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sydney Harpley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Summer's Day, which sold at auction in July 2015 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,125.36).
