Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing Woman by Sydney Harpley was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,068.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sydney Harpley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Summer's Day in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 30,125.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing Woman von Sydney Harpley kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.068,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sydney Harpley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Summer's Day im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 30.125,36).
