Admittedly, works by Sydney Ball have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Diagonal #1 (Canto Series) in August 2009 with an auction result of AUD 38,400.00 (€ 22,576.12).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 9.400,00 (€ 5.634,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sydney Ball auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Diagonal #1 (Canto Series) im August 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 38.400,00 (€ 22.576,12).
