This artwork by Sydney Adamson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2005. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Minaret'S By Night sold for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,410.36) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 400.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sydney Adamson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Tangier sold at auction in November 2005 with the realized price of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,291.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sydney Adamson erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit Minaret'S By Night für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.410,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 400,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sydney Adamson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Tangier im November 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.291,84).
