Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Svetoslav Roerich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of USD 262,400.00 (€ 207,858.05).
