It achieved a price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,004.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Svetoslav Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 262,400.00 (€ 207,858.05).

Die Arbeit We Must Strive Towards The Beautiful von Svetoslav Roerich kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.004,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Svetoslav Roerich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.400,00 (€ 207.858,05).
