Admittedly, works by Svetoslav Roerich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 262,400.00 (€ 207,858.05).

Die Arbeit Russian Portrait Of Katherine Campbell In A Fur Coat, Late 1920S von Svetoslav Roerich wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 41.683,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Svetoslav Roerich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.400,00 (€ 207.858,05).
