In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Landscape by Svetoslav Roerich. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,505.30), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Svetoslav Roerich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 262,400.00 (€ 207,858.05).

Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Svetoslav Roerich zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.505,30) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Svetoslav Roerich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of A Tibetan Woman And Her Granddaughter im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 262.400,00 (€ 207.858,05).
