Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Vita ränder" by Sven Jonson was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of SEK 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for SEK 540,000.00 (€ 46,529.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sven Jonson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vit urna/No.8", which sold at auction in November 2020 for SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 107,532.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Vita ränder" von Sven Jonson wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von SEK 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für SEK 540.000,00 (€ 46.529,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sven Jonson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vit urna/No.8" beobachtet, die im November 2020 für SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 107.532,64) versteigert wurde.
