Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included this untitled work by Sven Jonson. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 3,688.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Jonson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Vit urna/No.8" in November 2020 with an auction result of SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 107,532.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Sven Jonson zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 3.688,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Jonson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Vit urna/No.8" im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 107.532,64).
