Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sven Berlin could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Painting of an Amhurst Pheasant changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,174.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Berlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sven Berlin konnte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wechselte die Arbeit Painting of an Amhurst Pheasant für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.174,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Berlin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
