Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Miner At Work, Geevor by Sven Berlin was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 780.00 (€ 1,158.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sven Berlin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Teenagers in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,598.03).

Die Arbeit Miner At Work, Geevor von Sven Berlin kam im November 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 780,00 (€ 1.158,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sven Berlin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Teenagers im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.598,03).
