Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Composition by Suzy Frelinghuysen. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,869.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suzy Frelinghuysen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 552,500.00 (€ 487,944.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Suzy Frelinghuysen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.869,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suzy Frelinghuysen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 552.500,00 (€ 487.944,89).
