The work Crane, waves and peach tree by Suzuki Kiitsu was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2008. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,327.11), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Suzuki Kiitsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers of The Four Seasons in March 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 35,160.77).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Crane, waves and peach tree von Suzuki Kiitsu kam im März 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.327,11) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzuki Kiitsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers of The Four Seasons im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 35.160,77).
