Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Suzuki Kiitsu could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART auction, the work Chrysanthemums by a stream changed hands for USD 5,019.00 (€ 4,604.59) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Suzuki Kiitsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers of The Four Seasons in March 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 35,160.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzuki Kiitsu konnte im März 2003 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion JAPANESE AND KOREAN ART wechselte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums by a stream für USD 5.019,00 (€ 4.604,59) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzuki Kiitsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers of The Four Seasons im März 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 35.160,77).
