Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Summer In Brande by Suzlee Ibrahim was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,942.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzlee Ibrahim - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wall Series; Masterpiece Ii , which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 25,060.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Summer In Brande von Suzlee Ibrahim kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.942,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzlee Ibrahim mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wall Series; Masterpiece Ii beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 25.060,05) versteigert wurde.
