Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Les deux chats by Suzanne Valadon was worth GBP 69,600.00 (€ 79,321.30) to a buyer in April this year. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Suzanne Valadon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nu à la draperie in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).

Die Arbeit Les deux chats von Suzanne Valadon war einem Käufer im April diesen Jahres GBP 69.600,00 (€ 79.321,30) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nu à la draperie im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13).
