This artwork by Suzanne Valadon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2021. In the Collection de Monsieur & Madame Robert Schmit | Œuvres choisies – Session I auction, the work Le Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre sold for EUR 201,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suzanne Valadon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu à la draperie, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 475,000.00 (€ 420,838.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Suzanne Valadon erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection de Monsieur & Madame Robert Schmit | Œuvres choisies – Session I wurde die Arbeit Le Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre für EUR 201.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Suzanne Valadon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu à la draperie beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 475.000,00 (€ 420.838,13) versteigert wurde.
