Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Susan Meiselas could be acquired at Artcurial in December 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photography Bruno Mouron Collection auction, the work Nicaragua changed hands for EUR 130.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Susan Meiselas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Matagalpa, Nicaragua in May 2018 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,117.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Susan Meiselas konnte im Dezember 2015 bei Artcurial für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection wechselte die Arbeit Nicaragua für EUR 130,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Susan Meiselas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Matagalpa, Nicaragua im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.117,07).
