The work PADAT DAN SESAK (DENSE AND CONGESTED) by Suraji was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 18,278.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. Other works by Suraji have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Aceh Vs. Jogja was auctioned for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,181.81).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 18.278,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 160.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Suraji konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Aceh Vs. Jogja für HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.181,81) versteigert.
