In May 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Addicted by Suraji. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,833.69), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Suraji; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Aceh Vs. Jogja sold at auction in May 2019 with the realized price of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,181.81).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Addicted von Suraji zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.833,69) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Suraji; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Aceh Vs. Jogja im Mai 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 27.181,81).
