The work BERI KAMI KEHIDUPAN (GIVE ME A SPIRIT) by Suraji was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,409.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 220,000.00. Other works by Suraji have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Aceh Vs. Jogja was auctioned for HKD 237,500.00 (€ 27,181.81).
