Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Horses) by Sunil Das was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,499.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sunil Das have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Friends 1 in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,256.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Horses) von Sunil Das kam im März 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.499,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sunil Das auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Friends 1 im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.256,29).
