Admittedly, works by Sunil Das have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Friends 1 in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 26,256.29).

Die Arbeit Horse With Jockey von Sunil Das kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.400,00 (€ 6.280,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sunil Das auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Friends 1 im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 26.256,29).
