This artwork by Sun Xun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Shock Of Time (Set Of Twenty-Five) sold for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 32,127.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Xun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 21 G, which sold at auction in October 2015 for CNY 562,500.00 (€ 80,640.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sun Xun erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Shock Of Time (Set Of Twenty-Five) für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 32.127,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Xun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 21 G beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für CNY 562.500,00 (€ 80.640,96) versteigert wurde.
