The work Untitled; & Untitled by Sun Liang was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2020. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,560.16) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suitor in April 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,580,000.00 (€ 137,307.87).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.560,16) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suitor im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.580.000,00 (€ 137.307,87).
