signed Sun Kehong and Xueju Kehong, dated bingwu (1606), summer, with three seals of the artist, han yang tai shou zhang, sun shi yun zhi, han yang tai shou. Titleslip by Yao Jinyuan (19th century), signed Jinyuan, with one seal, yan shi. Colophon by Shen Quan (1624-1684), signed Huating Shen Quan, with one seal, yi tang. With three other collectors' seals, qi lan zhi yin, xiao ting jian ding, ding xin yang xing zhi zhai

The work Flowers Of The Four Seasons by Sun Kehong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,788.33), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sun Kehong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 397,600.36).

Die Arbeit Flowers Of The Four Seasons von Sun Kehong wurde im September 2013 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Cal bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 38.788,33) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sun Kehong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 397.600,36).
