In October 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink, which included the work Tuberose by Sun Hao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 414,000.00 (€ 42,622.51), 66% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black Horse, White Horse, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 756,000.00 (€ 90,614.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 66 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion The Enchantment of Neoteric Chinese Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tuberose von Sun Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 414.000,00 (€ 42.622,51) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black Horse, White Horse beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 756.000,00 (€ 90.614,98) versteigert wurde.
