Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Rooster by Sun Hao. The price achieved of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 19,446.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sun Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black Horse, White Horse in May this year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 90,614.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rooster von Sun Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 19.446,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sun Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black Horse, White Horse im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 90.614,98).
