Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sun Hao could be acquired at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper auction, the work Horse changed hands for HKD 141,600.00 (€ 16,542.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sun Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black Horse, White Horse in May this year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 90,614.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sun Hao konnte im Oktober 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper wechselte die Arbeit Horse für HKD 141.600,00 (€ 16.542,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sun Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black Horse, White Horse im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 90.614,98).
