Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gate-Small by Do-Ho Suh was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 2,680,000.00 (€ 314,462.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00. Other works by Do-Ho Suh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work Some/One was auctioned for USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).

Die Arbeit Gate-Small von Do-Ho Suh wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.680.000,00 (€ 314.462,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Do-Ho Suh konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit Some/One für USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42) versteigert.
